Las Vegas Smash
The Las Vegas Smash were the 2023 PPL Cup Champions of the PPL’s historical, inaugural season defeating the Cancun Waves in the final. Led by team owners Henry Strasser and Rick Belcastro, successful American businessman, Gavin Maloof (former NBA team owner and current owner of NHL team the Las Vegas Knights), is also a Team Owner of the Las Vegas franchise. This season, the Smash boast top players Marta Ortega (no. 6 in the world and former world no. 1), and former no. 29 in the world, Guga Vazquez, who was a part of their 2023 team that captured the PPL Cup.
