Houston Volts
The Houston Volts are the newest franchise to join the PPL and are led by Owner, Sergio Ortiz, and his partners. Ortiz is the former United States Padel Association President (USPA) and current President, and CEO, of Sports Facilities Investment Group. Appointing Juani Mieres as Sports Advisor to the team with Diego Pezzoni (former world no. 1 and USA Junior Padel Team Head Coach since 2019) named their Head Coach, the Houston Volts made their PPL debut at the 2023 All-Star Game in San Diego. Aiming to develop the next generation of champions with their young talent and build a winning team for the future, this season the Houston Volts have added Claudia Jensen (no. 13 in the world), Claudia Fernández (no. 16 in the world) as well as promising players Ivan Ramirez and Pablo Garcia to their team roster.
