It was a heart racing game between Cancun Waves and Los Angeles Beat with plenty of excitement.
LA won the first set 6-4, then Cancun took the second 7-5 pushing the game into a 3rd set to get the best of 3, which Cancun was able to secure the 3rd set after Daniela Banchero suffered muscle cramps.
The men’s game was interrupted by rain and lightning delays and also played all 3 sets. The Beat commanded a 6-2 win in the first set, but lost in the second set 4-6 and 3rd set 3-6.
