After an unforgettable journey that spanned some of the most iconic destinations in the world, the curtain has closed on the 2025 season of the Pro Padel League (PPL) with the thrilling conclusion of The City’s Cups: The Finals in New York City.
From the sun-kissed beaches of Miami to the charming and romantic streets of San Sebastián, Spain, the PPL has showcased not only world-class padel but also the diversity, beauty, and spirit of the sport’s global reach. The tour then traveled to México — the birthplace of padel — where fans witnessed passionate matches and electric crowds celebrating their national sport. From there, the league delivered one of its most elegant events yet in the vineyards of The Hamptons, where competition met lifestyle in a setting filled with sophistication, music, and fine wine.
Finally, the season reached its spectacular conclusion in New York City, inside the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom, with a final worthy of any global sporting stage.
The City’s Cup featured the top eight (8) Member Clubs from the Regular Season, based on the Overall Standings at the conclusion of the Regular Season, and was held in a single-elimination format, with a 3rd / 4th place match played immediately prior to the 1st / 2nd place match. The single-elimination format left no room for error, with every match becoming a battle for survival leading up to the championship final.
In the end, it was the New York Atlantics who rose above the rest, capturing the 2025 The City´s Cup title through the combined strength and performance of both their Men’s and Women’s teams. The Atlantics secured victory with a total of 40 points — 15 from the men’s side and 25 from the women’s team — a display of depth, balance, and dominance that crowned them as the most complete squad of the season.
The PPL 2025 season not only delivered breathtaking moments on the court but also reaffirmed a global truth: Padel is here to stay. With its unique blend of sport, community, and lifestyle, the Pro Padel League continues to redefine the future of professional padel — and the world is watching.
