With the final event of the PPL regular season set to start Monday, August 19th in San Diego, the PPL is thrilled to announce new sponsors for the week-long, action-packed event taking place at Taktika Padel.
New brands partnering with the PPL for the third event in San Diego include the San Diego Tourism Authority and Sycuan Casino Resorts. Local Mexican-themed restaurant Qdoba will be offering sampling on-site, and Fresco Cocina out of Carlsbad will have their Latin-themed menu for spectators and VIP guests. Spectators and fans will also be able to enjoy official beverage sponsors on-site at the award-winning Barnes Tennis Center including Estrella DAMM mediterranean beer (official beer), Tequila Comisario (official tequila), Longball Craft Cocktails (official craft cocktail), and Rumor Rosé (official rosé).
In addition, locally headquartered business Active-Duty Sportswear will be the official merchandise supplier offering contemporary Pro Padel League apparel with luxury tennis and premium sportswear brand Uomosport also sponsoring this year’s event in San Diego. The event’s sporting good sponsor will be Franklin Sports who is home of official MLB, NFL, MLS, NHL and college sports gear, pickleball and padel products, sporting goods, and more.
Sponsors who will be seen on-court with the players and around the grounds include VOSS water along with League sponsor Bullpadel supplying the official competition ball. The League’s official court supplier, AFP Courts, will be debuting their new Adidas HIGH COMPETITION court model in San Diego created specifically for the PPL and the high competition and performance level by the League’s players. In addition, realturf will supply the official court surface.
From August 19th-25th, ten PPL teams representing some of the most iconic cities in North America will compete at Taktika Padel for a chance to qualify for the PPL Cup including the Las Vegas Smash, Cancun Waves, Miami Padel Club, Flowrida Goats, San Diego Stingrays, Los Angeles Beat, Arkansas Matrix, Toronto Polar Bears, New York Atlantics, and Houston Volts.
Starting Monday, August 19th, round robin matches will take place through Friday, August 23rd, with the semifinals being held Saturday, August 24th and the final on Sunday, August 25th. The competition format will include men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and a mixed doubles match.
Tickets are now available on the PPL website and include general admission, reserved seating, VIP, and week-long passes.
