Entered for the first Pro Padel League Draft is #1 Japanese Padel player and PPL Draft
contender Shungo Kusakabe.
“This amazing sport of Padel has changed my life,” Shungo told the PPL. “It has given
me lots of ties with many people and great experiences.”
Setting his sights on leading the Japanese team to victory in the Asian Olympics,
Shungo wants to win the individual title of the next Asia Olympics.
Not only looking to grow the sport of Padel in Japan and across Asia, Shugo is also
aiming to be apart of the League’s historical year with the first season set to swing
underway in May.
“I want to contribute to the promotion of this amazing sport,” commented Shungo.
Attracting interest from the best Padel players around the world, the PPL received 500
applications from competitors in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and
Asia for their first Player Draft.
The PPL Draft is set to take place on March 20th at 1:00 p.m. EST and will be
